Use pam_smb. You just change the relevant auth line in
/etc/pam.d/ppp from pam_pwdb.so to pam_smb_auth.so.
BTW, Dave, any plans to make pamsmbd do automatic domain controller
identification (like password server = * in smb.conf)? And
maybe faster failover from one DC to another? And case-sensitive
passwords?
