Hi all,

Does anyone know of any web based interfaces for an LDAP server ?

I have used LDAPXplorer
(http://www.hklc.com/infocenter/articles/My_Software_x_LDAP_web_xplorer.html),
but this is stuck at v0.2.5 and the author tells me that he has stopped
work on it. The functionality seems to be what we want.

We have also used LDAP Explorer
(http://igloo.its.unimelb.edu.au/LDAPExplorer/), but the functionality
isn't what we want at all.

Basically we want to allow a user to open a web page, key in 'Ryan' and
see a list of all the Ryans in his organisation, assuming that the
organisation already has an LDAP directory containing the relevant data.

I have done a search on freshmeat and also on LinuxCentral, but this
hasn't turned up much.

Commercial software would be OK.

I know there are libraries out there, but I'm not in any position to do
any development work.

I know that Novell have a java based interface, but the site in question
has slow links and slow computers and so we need something which will
run on the server.

Thanks,

David
