This question has come up a lot recently. Can someone
explain what the hell is going on! Does the BIOS have
anything to do with it (do some do DST themselves).
What does Windows do (if anything) to the hardware clock
All I know is that before the clocks went forward
recently my BIOS and DOS and Linux all reported
the same correct time but afterwards Linux gave
the right time and the other 2 were still behind
I kinda wish I still had Windows on my machine
to see what it reports (ie. does it put the
RTC (BIOS clock) forward or just leave it alone
and add an hour automagically when asked for the
time?
