Interesting. Is that a general trend? If so, that might explain to some
degree the poor quality of Electronics graduates I've seen in interviews
this year (the rest would be explained by the fact that the really good
folks probably take their time to apply anywhere... :-) ). The most amazing
experience was to interview a few Spanish graduates in contrast...
That's actually something I expect to happen more often: Ireland will
attract more and more skilled folks especially from other EU countries -
take Spain for example, where the job situation for electronics grads is
miserable. Interesting times...
