[ILUG] Support for HP DesignJet 750C in RedHat?

Hi Conor:

Assuming you have the HP DesignJet 750 C Plus, it will work but not
perfectly and you'll be limited for most things to 300 x 300 dpi.
Here a a few brief notes on what I've found to be issues with this
printer:

Language: RTL

Printer does not support PJL.

Works "almost" - RGB data are sent to the plotter.

The CMYK mode of the "B"-Models and the 75x Series is not supported.
Images are somewhat "greenish"; gray is composed of CMY. Nice for
really LARGE printouts ... (ISO A4-A0), (ANSI A, B...), (DIN C4,
C3...)...

Driver: With HP RTL and PostScript color resolution is always 300
x300.

Addressable 600 dpi using Sharp lines for vector graphics in HP-GL/2.

No autoprobe

Driver Information

dnj650c
Type: Ghostscript

Hope this helps. Have a good weekend.

Donnchadh O'Neill
