the point i was trying to make there (not very well), that the attitude of
putting stuff into kernel space purely for speed isn't really that good -
otherwise DOS would have been the CS poster OS..
the analogy isn't a good one, cause DOS is so much simpler/crapper as
people have pointed out, but hey... :)
