Subject: [ILUG] mounting a cdrom again

HI,
I sent this message a while ago but all my mail got backed up
while i was away and i had to delete it all, sorry.

I mounted my cdrom using the command,
                mount /dev/cdrom
which seemd to work (lots of whirring noises)
and then mtab contained the line
                /dev/hdb on /mnt/cdrom type iso9660 (ro)
but i can't open the cdrom door. do i need to do anything
        else?
                thanks, adrian o'sullivan
