I've never had my hands on one, nor even seen one, but I have read about a
power supply in standard PC format which had a built in UPS (only extra
thing needed is batteries across the DC outputs, all the AC/DC stuff being
there already). I don't imagine it lasted long - probably just long enough
to survive a brownout or carry out an orderly shutdown.
