I have 2 directories on a zip disk. they have the
following permissions ..
drwxr-xr-x 4 root root 16384 Jun 30
11:27 .
drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4096 Jun 7
20:43 ..
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 2048 Jun 30
11:27 KDE2
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 2048 Jun 8
10:51 X
I have tried to delete the two folders rm -R -f *
I was told they are read only, So I have chmod 755
* and 777 * and still no joy.
What could I be doing wrong. One note I can only
write to the zip disk if I am root.
JAson.
