[ILUG] NFS Solaris client connecting to Linux server.

[ILUG] NFS Solaris client connecting to Linux server.

Hi!

I'm trying to do increment the amount of space in a Solaris 2.6 bix by
connecting to a Linux 2.2.13 server with the "user-space" daemons. I'm able
of mounting the directory from other linux boxes, so I know the server is
working. When trying to mount from Solaris 2.6, it comes back with "Warning:
no network locking on (host):/my/mount. Contact server admin." The bad news
is that then it mounts the directory, but in read-only mode. Any ideas?

I've heard of the "kernel-space" nfs-server. I even recompiled my kernel
with the "Emulate Sun server" in the NFS options. Unfortunately, I don't
know where to find the daemons for the "kernel-space" server. Anybody knows?
Does anybody know where to find documentation about NFS, not being the
NFS-HOWTO? Thank you all in advance,

Ricardo Letosa
