Well, compiling will probably work in any case, but if the headers
don't match the running kernel, weird things may happen at runtime
(if the program runs at all).
> eg: you have 2.2.14, so the link should read:
>> [/usr/include]$ ls -l linux
> linux -> /usr/src/linux.2.2.14/include/linux
