I had the exact same problem recently with RH6.1 - the solution is there is no
priter support in the stock kernel - recompile is required!
Whe thats done just run printtool and everything will be well!!
If that doesnt work then try beating the printer over the head with a large
mallett- doesnt get it to print but I'd bet it'll make you feel a lot better
