Grepping through the kernel source, I find no indication that such a
module actually exists, and it certainly isn't under /lib/modules.
parport_lowlevel is a symbolic name to represent the appropriate
parport_? module. You need to alias it to parport_pc in conf.modules.
then a modprobe parport_pc should bring it all up.
(methinks this is all mentioned in
src/linux/Documentation/parport.txt :) )
Any ideas?
