[ILUG] Linux Newbie - Basic Question RPM

Am I right in saying -qf switch is used to query a package ?? Get info
etc..??? Another problem I ran up against was an errormsg telling me a
hadn't enough room on / to install the package, so i used the --dbpath
switch, is there a way to set a --dbpath default ???

Is there a good guide to rpm anywhere ???

~Justin
