[ILUG] obscure editor functionality

 I remember in some editor, that you could copy from the line above. As
in,


  set something  something big and hairy
  set hardstuff  *

 And, at the * position, the editor would start filling in what was on the
line above. Handy for programming. Anyone know an editor that does that,
or better yet, know a way of doing it in vim ?
