[ILUG] [way OT] palm pilot connecting to ISP via Irda mobile

Hi

I'm trying to connect to an ISP with a palm pilot/irda mobile and it ain't working. It dials, connects (14400), and as per the login script waits for 'name:' - no quotes. I've tried oceanfree and indigo and both get stuck here.

The phone is a motorola timeport. It's a IIIe pilot, with the irda enhancemant and OS 3.1.1 . I know that 3.3 improves irda stuff, but guess who didn't find out the IIIe isn't flash-upgradable until after he bought it. doh.

TIA,
	Gary.

PS the login script is
  waitfor	name:
  send UserId
  send CR
  waitfor	word:
  send Password
  send CR
  end
