well i guess i can safely assume that the above is aimed at me, so i
should have the right to reply.
The point i wanted to make, which perhaps didn't get through, is that
taking the view "OS xyz has problem abc, so i'll never look at it" is
rather blinkered in itself, esp. considering that there /might/ be a
work-around to that problem.
