Hi,
It's me again... I swear I'll learn enough GNU/Linux in the next while
to be able to restore my karma levels (reduced by the imbalance of
receiving help over giving help).
Anyway, I'm trying to configure nfs. When I run /etc/rc.d/init.d/nfs start,
I get the following:
Starting NFS services [OK]
Starting NFS statd:
Starting NFS quotas:
Starting NFS mountd:
Starting NFS daemon:
nfssvc: Address already in use
[FAILED]
And when I try to mount from another PC, I get permission denied.
I'm looking in the LDP for info, but I can't see any reference to nfssvc.
Any help, please?
Thanks,
Cormac.
