The man page for xfig has the following option:
-geom[etry] [WxH][+X+Y]
You may use the -geometry option or resource to
size and/or position the xfig window, or you may
use -pwidth and/or -pheight to specify the canvas
size in inches or centimeters.
so do :
> xfig -geom <WIDTH>x<HEIGHT>+0+0
