Hi Guy's
Sorry about the off topic.
I'm presently running a COL2.3 server 24/7.
In addition to it's current setup I would also like to set it up as a mirror
site for
most Linux related area's. Setup free space Linux users.
I'm a big fan of Linux, probably not half as long as you Guru's. but my
question is
would if be off putting to use the .com for my site? Will Linux people still
come?
Contribute information, utilities for downloading from my site. Basically I
don't want to
discourage users from my site.
I just joined the world of Linux five months ago and I don't know what Lunix
users
really want and don't want. I've just being getting on with what I want as a
Linux user.
Eventually I'll be registering .ie and .org(when the bank chap gives me the
money;-). )
and I'll be moving from a my employers 512k leased line to my own connection
on a webfarm,
and this is going to cost me money. Don't get me wrong, although everything
is free to the users
I still need to pay the bank back and I'll have to find ways of making the
money but
my main aim is to provide the Linux world all the additional freedom they
need.
Your opinions / suggestions would be a great help. Even the telling me off
suggestions are welcome.
Once again sorry about the off topic.
TIA
Wayne C.
