I did 2 years in IT Tallaght, when I got there they were in the process of
removing the last of the unix content from the course ... though the head
of computing has expressed some kind of an interest in Linux now ...
I know in ICT in trinity, the current 2nd years have shell accounts on a
Linux server (Debian, I think), though the year that went before them
didn't.
I don't know about other colleges, or whether or not there's any decent
Linux certification out there (is it necessary/desirable at all ?).
