Ack.. to quote you "Stop that now..." what's the problem with using
the local API's?... damn people wanting to rewrite UNIX libraries
under windows... bad enough windows people wondering why NT threads
don't work under posix!
Any way, AFAIK there is quite a bit of support for speedy graphics in Java,
there is a Java graphics demo page out there somewhere (think
Second Reality done in Java!)
