You can't put a PII233 into a celeron motherboard, but you could but a
coppermine chip, and get a widget to plug it into. Damned if I remember
who was selling them though. That said, I'm fairly sure that the
motherboard would only drive it at a 66Mhz bus. Motherboards & chips are
so cheap these days, that you are as well off replacing it, if it's not
sufficent, rather tha breaking your heart trying some kludge.
