This probably isn't what you're looking for, but I've been known to move
stuff from one database with mSQL/MySQL with a command along the lines
of:

msqldump database | msql -h newdbserver newdbname

Probably won't be any use in the particular case you're asking about,
but I thought I'd throw it out anyway.
