head to somewhere like Laser in Dundrum and pick up 2 cheap network cards
for around 20-30 quid, and some cat-5 crossover cable and youre away. you
wont need the hub if its just for 2 pcs.

Niall

Subject: [ILUG] best idea to connect two PCs??
Hi~
I'd like to connect two PCs(study purpose only) and extend to internet
later. One has Win98 and another one has RedHat. Can anyone recommend best
idea? I know Compustore near StephensGreen sells 3Com OfficeConnect
Networking Kit(For 10Base-T Ethernet Networks). It has 2 Network
cards(3c509b), one hub(TP 4) and 2 cables. Is it working well?
Thanks,
John
