I'm running Apache, and I've run into a problem. Last week, the techies asked
me to turn off the nameserver that was also running on the machine. I turned
it off, and a problem seems to have cropped up.
If I try and access the stats directory, I get a forbidden message. The
access.conf file has the following section:
<Location /stats>
order deny,allow
deny from all
allow from cs.tcd.ie
</Location>
If I try and access the stats directory from netscape running off the server
itself, I can access the stats, but if I use my own box, I get the forbidden
message. The problem seems to have cropped up after I turned off the
nameserver on the webserver. The webserver is now using the departmental
nameserver instead.
Any ideas?
