Hi,
I have Red Hat 5.2 running on my laptop, connecting over the network to a HP
Laserjet 5/JetDirect card.
When i open a terminal window inside X-Windows and print a text file
containing £ signs it comes out with "u"s.
i used the command
>lp -Plp0 test.txt
If i open the same text file within Netscape and print it to the printer it
works fine, the netscape print option is also lp -Plp0
The /etc/printcap is the following
lp0:\
:sd=/var/spool/lpd/lp0:\
:mx#0:\
:sh:\
:rm=10.1.1.20:\
:rp=hplaserjet:\
How do i print £ symbols within a terminal window ?
Regards Aidan
