Hello Kieran:
I realise this may not be the answer you're looking for, as I assume you would like a Dublin source for the ISA soundcard.
Still, if you have a credit card you could order one from Axion Technologies here in the states (they're located in Texas.)
http://www.axiontech.com
They have an Aopen AW37-3D wavetable PnP ISA soundcard (retail box) for $11 U.S. Their part# is: SOACAW3730
I did not check to see if it's Linux compatible, but as ACER owns Aopen I would assume it's SB16 compatible. and would "probably" work.
They made no mention of chipset
Unlike many of the other vendors I checked, Axion will ship to Europe via US Postal Service or UPS. They also stress that they do not make a profit on shipping. They charge what it costs them and then add $1 to $3 U.S. for labour. Still, I'd recommend e-mailing them for concrete details. If you're not in a big rush, USPS would likely be the least expensive option.
I realise now these cards are becoming more difficult to find. Where I live they now get about $15 U.S for a used generic card with ESS chipset.
Let me know if you can't find a local source & axion doesn't work out. I could probably find a way to get one to you. If I could afford it at the moment I'd just send you one and work out reimbursement later, but am waiting for a few clients to pay up.
Slan,
Donnchadh O'Neill
