[ILUG] X-windows client for NT

[ILUG] X-windows client for NT

] Is there a free x-windows client for NT ????

Try locating a copy of XWin32 - it's a self extracting archive. Works
fairly well. It is shareware, I think, but you can use it free for a while,
and I don't believe it expires. One of those conscience based shareware
utilities.

Hmmm. http://www.xwin32.com - it was that easy.

Oh dear - it's no longer shareware. Cost $200. But you can download the
eval version which has no expiry date. Only problem is that it will quit
after 2 hours.

Anyone any better suggestions?

Oh, you could try VNC. Not an X Server for NT, but something similar - it
run an X session on the Linux box which you connect to and view on the PC.
You can password protect the session, quit on you NT box, load and reconnect
on another NT (or Linux) box, and all your application are still running.
Quite good, and quite handy too.
