And possibly giving some other pointers within your own system
e.g.
using rpm to see which package your binary is a part of
and what other files are normally included in this package
using the programs locate, which, man
checking for messages in /var/log/messages ( which could
also mean checking tty10 )
And then if/when people do ask for help, suggesting some basic info
to provide :
distribution name and version
version of software which is causing problems
error messages if any
