Sorry but this is an emergency: I am supposed to be
demoing a new website to the head honchos here and
Oracle (sqlplus) has decided not to allow logins - it
prompts me for a username and hangs, thus my "database
driven" sections of the site are not working. I have
searched for relevant logfiles and there is nothing
(that I can find).
Does anybody know anything elemetary to look for or
even how to gracefully restart Oracle?
Sorry for the OT nature of the mail but this really is
a bit of a crisis.
