A friend of mine worked for a television network over in the US for a few
years that used Vignette. She says that it costs an f*load of money to pay
for it, and that it's not worth it. It kept crashing on them in particular; a
week at a time when they'd have it down for an hour each day, and the Vignette
support folks wouldn't be able to say what was wrong.
I'd say write or call the company to ask about their Linux plans, if there are
any. Worst case, they aren't going to but enough people asking would lead
them to seriously question their market strategy.
