 Well, the self-publishing system Joe & Oisin have written rocks quite a
lot at the moment, and it's all in TCL, not *that* much Oracle specific
(though I do remeber a few PL/SQL questions being passed around).  I'd
reckon it would do about 30% of what Vignette does, not knowing exactly
what Vignette is, apart from a semi-automated publishing system.

 And that's likely to be able 80% of what you would need. Of course, it
still needs a lot of work. When it's ready for prime time, everyone would
be allowed to use it to make their own websites (as well as groupy ones),
though without "content input" bits, that are used on the main pages.
