Vignette StoryServer is a database backed webserver system for
publishing content on the web. Ideally it is aimed at big publishers
like news.com. It can run with Oracle or any other big database. It is
not a hobbyist product and can take a lot of setting up and expertise to
get working properly. If you can afford to spend £50K on the software,
the HW to run it is going to be at least five times that if you want to
do it properly.
The "slash" code is a completely different product. It relies on
Perl/MySQL and is designed as an online forum rather than being
publishing software.
