Hi all,

Weird issue with my squid/ipmasqing box

Been running for the past few weeks without a hitch (apart from the
mouse crashing, restarting gpm alone didn't fix it, I also had to unplug
and replug it... it's the only microsoft compoment of the whole setup, I
guess it decided it had gone too long without a hard reset!), but the
other day ipmasqing stopped by itself.

I said "echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward" and it started working
again.

Any idea why it should spontaneously turn itself off? No weirdnesses
making themselves evident.

System in question is a generic P133/128M/14G with lots of free RAM,
swap and space in all filesystems, running RH6.0

Thanks

cjb
