I recently upgraded one of my boxen to XFree86 4.0, and ran into one little
snag. I use GPM, and have it set up as a repeater, using -R, so that it
feeds the mouse movements back out on /dev/gpmdata. I then configure X to
read its mouse input from there. This is a common configuration with PS/2
mice, and especially with wheel mice.
Anyhow, XFree86 4.0 doesn't seem to like this. Or rather, it doesn't
complain, but the mouse doesn't move :-). Has anybody else played with
XFree86 4.0 yet, or heard anything about this?
