HI,
At the moment I'm trying to figure out how to manipulate my graphical logon.
I prefer kdm to anything else and, when I upgraded from RH5.2 to 6.x a while
ago, I got a GNOME version. My HD partitions died recently so I installed
Mandrake for fun and I'm back to kdm again but I want to know where kdm is
called from so that I can sort things out if any future upgrades feel like
imposing a different logon upon me. I had a look at my init files and my
xinit files but couldn't find any mention of kdm or any other logon manager.
The rc for kdm just has info on the setup (as it would). I would have
thought that the xinit scripts were the place to look. Was I wrong or just
not looking in the right place.
