Hi,
I bought a copy of Linux Format yesterday (in Athlone! and I thought
I'd have to go to Dublin to get it). It's along the same lines as
Linux Answers (the pilot magazine). Not bad, but a bit too much aimed
at total Linux beginners ("What is Linux and how do I install it?")
- point well made by Dave Neary who got plugs in for the ILUG and
CLUG, nice one; the official response was that future issues will cater
more for intermediate and experienced users.
I'll continue buying it, but I'm hoping it will improve. And there's also
the cover CD with Linux distro / software... I wonder what the chances are
of SuSE 6.4 appearing on the cover CD (well, CDs, 6.3 has 6 of them!).
Not likely, I suppose.
Regards,
Cormac.
