[ILUG] irish linux translation pointer

[ILUG] irish linux translation pointer

I remember some discussion of difficulty inherent in irish translations
of computer terms previously, theres a small but interesting list at
http://www.smo.uhi.ac.uk/gaeilge/foclora/riomhaire.html

I still reckon theres money to be made by wandering around to minority
language governments and gathering grants for localizing linux source
available products. For instance I read that Iceland is very big into
retaining their own language but that the market is too small for the
likes of the large software giants to bother themselves to localize their
products. Probably a few irish groups who's fall over themselves to aid
the likes of linux as gaeilge, not that I'd be much use for anything of
that nature.
