I have six and it worked fine on several machines. I believe it's 6.1/7 that are irksome.

Subject: [ILUG] Mandrake 6.0 problems
I'm trying to install Mandrake 6.0 on a box with no great success. Booting
from the CD fails, so I made a floppy but that fails also. Now, the CD works
on another box and a SuSE 6.3 CD works on this box, so I've some kind of a
mismatch between box and CD. Any ideas ? I do seem to remember that some
version of Mandrake had some boot issues. Was it 6.0 ?
Regards,
Niall O Broin
