[ILUG] Hmm - old ilug site?

[ILUG] Hmm - old ilug site?

Guest, Ken kengu at credo.ie

<webmaster mode>
I'd prefer that we do not go down the route of password
protecting the public (ilug@, cork@ et al) mailing lists
for 3 reasons:
1. Imposing passwords on those mailing lists goes well
   against the grain and there is no good reason why
   the solutions, support and tech conversations provided
   in those mailing lists should not be available for any
   one to read.
2. Do you seriously want yet another password to remember?
3. Considering the reason why imposing passwords on the
   mailing list archives has been suggested it makes much more
   sense to merely obfusicate/semimangle the email addresses
   contained in the postings.

#Or just restrict the archives so people need a mailman password to get
