Bookmark 11am, June 17th people (a Saturday). The ILUG AGM is going
ahead, full steam. I'm currently looking for ideas for speakers (I have
three "maybes" at the moment, really good ones), and I'm also looking for
people that would be willing to host or co-host "Bird of a feather"
meetings.
BOF Hosts would be: "Developers" "Webmasters/developers" "Admins" "New
tech" or something. Also, I'd like to have a few people bring in machines
& monitors that would be setup with cutting-edge tech - Helix-GNOME, KDE2,
*working* GeForce & GLX drivers etc.
As far as I know, we won't need any sponsorship - this is just a
hard-core ILUG meeting - not for people that having used linux before, so
perhaps some enterprising people could buy bulk t-shirts, penguins & stuff
and flog them to members. I'll see about making up some ILUG
tshirts/fleeces & having them for sale to members.
Mail me off list if you want to help, want to bulk-buy, know a speaker,
or would like to host a BOF. You know it makes sense.
