it kind of already can. i can't remember the menu option but i pulled
down to manage windows or something like that and it swallowed all my
xterms, etc in it's process bar. not quite a wm, but damn close. i

years ago i saw a joke that descibed this amazing new computer of the
future. it could predict your thoughts, make coffee; you name a task,
it could do it and still have time to tape your favourite shows (before
you even knew you liked them). first question from the tech
journalists? "can it run windows?"
in other news, dunno if anyone here uses strace to do debugging but it's
quite handy. read recently that someone's written a version for nt.
can't they come up with anything new....
