Do you? I certainly know that on my bog standard RH 6.0 box I simply
added the link to /etc/smrsh and that was all that was required.
In any case this is a configurable option - you can enable sendmail to
run any script without requiring the use of /etc/smrsh (I think that
Slackware default sendmail install comes like this).
