Well, that was from the man in Linuxcare. A master of understatement, I
would say :-) Anyway, he wanted my/our details again and I've told him about
the AGM so I hope to have some BBCs for that. However, he also said

so that's the story there. I might add that that was not the story
previously so obviously the death of the IPO has meant belt tightening all
around.

He asked

> In order to help us quickly process your request, please send me

and this is all fine, except for the role thing. My real role here is Person
In The User Group Who Saw Something Somewhere About The Bootable Business
Cards And Decided That We Could Do With Some Of Those but I didn't think
that would sound so good, so I decided to appoint myself secretary of the ILUG, as it
seemed like a good role to be asking for goodies from a vendor. I haven't
looked at the constitution in a while, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't allow
for people to vote themselves unanimously into office :-) but don't woory
about it - you can oust me at the AGM in a month's time. Meantime, can I
have a company credit card to take care of legitimate expenses ?

Kindest regards,

Niall
