Hi there,
I have set up my PC with Mandrake 7 on our NT network. I have, using
Gnosamba, configured my machine so there is a shared directory for the
NT users.
The IT department require a naming convention be followed by all
machines on the network. I have managed to get the computer to show up
on the network with the required name using a netbois alias, but its
real name apc088 also shows up on a NT workstations network explorer. Is
there any way to stop this from Happening ??
Thanks.
Jason.
