Even if they did, the IEDR wouldn't let you register co.ie. Unless one of them
had a really good session the night before. (Just kidding James! :)
They've already accounted for the gTLD's anyway - see point 3.8. in:
http://www.domainregistry.ie/policies/ie_obtain.html
Maybe they should amend that to cover common second-levels too - co, ac, etc.
