What about South Africa, Singapore, Russia, Poland, Malaysia, Japan, Hong
Kong, Hungry, India, Austria, Preu, Mexico???
I'd call them significant, don't get me wrong but doesn't a lot of comsumers
live there?
All are this type of registration along with most of the rest of the South

And you can in fact register straight into the .ca domain, at least you
could when I last looked.
The only two significant countries outside the US that demand that you
register in a second level domain are Australia and the UK. I know the
Aussies and the British like to think they make up most of the world,
but please don't encourage them in this!
