Given the extortionate price of ISDN right now - let alone the
astronomical price of an E1, I don't see how that can happen. They must
come up with a pricing scheme that's at least within the ballpark of the
cable modem people. I suspect NTL will be rolling out something well
before Eircom gets it's ADSL ass in gear. NTL don't have a large base of
customers who have been callously exploited from day one, and they're
unlikely to build such a customer base in this day and age if they go
pricing their services too high.
