Not quite true. It's due to the lack of DSP chips fab plant capacity,
which mobile phones are the chief culprit for. CDRW's have been suffering
too. My brother in PCSource mentioned that people that were selling them
6x DVD roms for £80 around December were looking for £120 in April, and
mentioning a 4 week wait, at times.
